Welcome

 Thank you for visiting our class web page.  I will use this web page to keep you informed of upcoming events, clarification of homework, and to give you a way to communicate with me.

Important Information 

Class hours:  8:00a.m - 11:30a.m.    

The first bell will ring at 7:57 and the tardy bell will ring at 8:00. 

Please be sure that you check your child's folder daily.  All homework will be recorded on the assignment sheet and your child's daily behavior report will be also.  Please initial this sheet daily.

Several parents have been able to help in the classroom or help me in other ways and I really appreciate it!  If you would like to help in the classroom just let me know what days are convenient for you.  We will now have specific time slots available to help in class.  Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday you can visit from 9:00am-10:00am OR 10:30am-11:30am.  On Thursdays the time will be 8:00am-10:00am.

Class Party

We will be having a birthday party for Jesus on December 18 at 10:30.  All parents are invited to attend.  The children have been practicing a couple of songs that they would like to share.  Please come!

Book It

The reading goal for December is 12 books.  I had 9 students receive a reading certificate for November.

Reading logs for December will be due on January 5th.

Report cards will be mailed home on December 18th.

NOTE

Please don't forget show-and-tell.  Your child will have the same show-and-tell day each week.  Please have your child think of 3 clues to describe his/her show and tell before sharing at school.

Please have your child practice the phonograms at home.

We will have a dictation test every Thursday.
