It hardly seems Mrs. Rie Caswell is in her 33rd year of teaching!  She has been with MCS for nine of them, and we have been blessed.  Mrs. Caswell earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art Education from Alfred University in New York. She then earned Master's Degrees in K-6 Elementary Education, Christian School Education, and Curriculum Development.  Mrs. Caswell also received a Lifetime Elementary Teacher Certification from ACSI.  Needless to say, Mrs. Caswell's experience and knowlege is a huge benefit to her students and our school community!

We are excited to welcome Mrs. Diane Pierce to our team here at MCS! Although she grew up in Michigan, she and her family moved to Arizona where she graduated from Northern Arizona University.  Since then, she has had more than 20 year's teaching experience.  She will be teaching 4th grade in the afternoon this year.

Ms. Lindsey Dystra comes to us all the way from Grand Haven, Michigan.  She graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College with a degree in Elementary Education.  This is her 5th year teaching 5th grade at MCS.  She previously taught 6 and a half years in Michigan.  Ms. Dykstra loves coffee, soccer, reading, and teaching fifth grade!  We are so glad to have her on our staff.
